just wanted to put up a quick post as it's been a year since the July 7th bombings in London. my heart goes out to all the families who lost someone close, friends who lost loved ones and partners of those who died on the tubes and the bus. i remember feeling really strongly about this cos it was just by luck that my brother didn't get on the Kings Cross train on the Piccadilly line that day, because there were track problems further near us by Arnos Grove (our nearest tube is Southgate), so he had to take the buses. some divine intervention there if you ask me, because my brother would've been on that tube.
this is just a tribute to all those involved with the bombings. families for staying strong, police ambulanca and fire services, just everyone and anyone who helped in any way possible. it's good to know we can all pull together when there's such a major crisis. |

Thankyou for making this post. I'm glad your brother missed his train and that he was OK when this all came about. A sincere thanx to all involved.
We will remember. |
